The motif depicts Duke Petar Bojović and the original letter he sent to General Draža Mihailović.
Petar Bojović "Pier" is one of the four famous Serbian dukes. He participated in six wars and was awarded 26 Serbian decorations and 16 in other countries. He led the First Army in the breakthrough of the Thessaloniki front in September 1918. After the breakthrough of the Thessaloniki front, he was promoted to the rank of voivode and was the last person to receive that rank. On December 10, 1942, Bojović sent a letter to General Dragoljub Draža Mihailović: - With the knowledge that you, dear Serbs and generals, have unfurled the flag of liberation, from the place where my war comrade Živojin Mišić started, twenty-eight years ago, and expelled enemy from our homeland, caused me great joy and intensified the desire for personal participation in today's fight to the maximum. In the absence of the power to take a direct part in the realization of this great part of the nation, I, dear and great son of the Serbian race, put my name and my children at your disposal with a paternal greeting and a military command: "Forward to victory, for the king and the fatherland".
